Gnome Cottage

This little project was fun!

How to do it:
- paper towel rolls & cardboard for a firm base
- fabric swatches (collected over time for the interior and exterior)
- hot glue
- felted wool

The wool roofs were wet felted in mossy colours the same way I would make a flower. The mossy grass was simply a blob of greens wet felted together, flat.

The rolls were cut to portioned heights to match the roof size. Then I stuck fabric inside and out and cut window and door openings.

With hot glue I stuck the felted moss to the cardboard base, then the roofs onto the decorated cottage walls then last, the little cottage parts onto the base.

Next time I'll get photos before my kids "admire" it.

Enjoy watching the kids play!
