Painting

I've had a chance to do some painting recently!

I'm working on a small project for A.  Yes, he's my muse right now... hehe!

I picked-up 3 small mirrors at IKEA, with a thick wooden border.  I am using the wood as the canvas to some textured acrylic work.  I've chosen 'seasons' as my theme and have started the base for the 3 pieces (summer and spring are blended into one frame).  I think I should be done in one more sitting.  I'll post some photos when they're done.

The hard part is coming-up with time! With one shopping / errand day (Saturday) and one relaxing day (Sunday) per week, getting enough spare time and getting E to babysit, means side projects become truly that.

Here's hoping the stars line-up again soon!
